I did the Everest Base Camp trek in December 2024, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
We were a group of seven adventurers from different countries. Two of our team members unfortunately fell ill in Dingboche and had to return by helicopter.
But the remaining five of us pushed our limits and successfully reached the base of the highest mountain in the world - it was truly unforgettable.

Read moreIt took us 10 days to get here. We wanted to have enough time for acclimatization. We could not sleep, eat, it was freezing at night. But the whole trip is worth it. It’s very hard but it was the best experience in my life. You will feel so good once you reach EBC. The way from Gorakshep to EBC is very crowded so be careful and watch your step. If you want to take picture with EBC rock, prepare yourself with lots of patience. There are many people waiting for the same thing. Many of them are mean so you need to be fast. Make sure you have your own sleeping bag during this trek and warm jacket. It’s windy all the time so always cover your head, even at night. Beware of the Khumbu cough!!! Nobody told us about this before, you just have a lot of information about how to avoind altitude sickness but cough was the worst. It took us months before it...
