We have been for a family week end around Groningen . One of the family member organized fhe canoeing in this place . We enjoyed our ride on the Canadian canoa in the beautiful Dutch country side .

We hebben hier met het gezin een nette 4pers Canadese kano gehuurd. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren die flexibel zijn, meedenken, en lief zijn voor de kinderen. Van tevoren kregen we een korte uitleg (voor rookies) over hoe he het beste in en uitstapt, het sturen, etc. De Annermoeras tocht is een echte aanrader. Mooi natuurgebied waar de Hunze doorheen meandert. Met z'n vieren peddelen in een kano vergt wat samenwerking, en is daardoor extra gezellig. Vergeet niet te bukken bij de bruggetjes, en je peddel in de lengte te leggen!

Ondanks de regen en het onweer, Was het prachtig om te doen met de kinderen. Toen het begon te onweren, hebben we dekking gezocht bij het keerpunt in Spijkerboor, bij een café/restaurant. Daar kregen de kinderen nog een handdoek. Er werd al gebeld door Breeland of we veilig binnen zaten. We werden opgehaald door Breeland. (De) service was heel klantvriendelijk.

I very much enjoyed a group outing here. We did kayaking and a barbeque for lunch. The kayaking (and canoeing) was really nice, scenic, and you can take it at your own pace. For the barbeque, everybody's dietary requirements were accommodated very well. We had different people eating vegan, halal, and gluten-free and all of them had plenty of nice options. Overall, a really good choice as an outing for a diverse...
