Well worth a visit, the museum is housed in a building in the Assen barracks. Not very easy to get there & or to find it, but the collection is worth a visit! Entrance is free, so is parking.

Ten eerste is het de alle handigst om balkenweg te gebruiken als dit is de enige in of uitgang. Wat ook je navigatie zegt. Dit uit de weg is de vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid van de personeel bijzonder hoog. De museum zelf is mooi netjes en overzichtelijk ingericht met veel informatie over tijdperk en gebeurtenissen rondom dit regiment. Een zeer leerzaam en accuraat beeld. Alles met alles een top activiteit voor mensen van alle leeftijden. Vooral voor mensen met interesse in de militair. Wel moet je je aanmelden bij de security post.
