This was the worst movie theatre experience I had in my life. I went to go see a matinee showing of Jurassic World on a week day. I was lucky to arrive half an hour before the movie was supposed to start as there was an enormous line for the box office. They had 8 registers but only 2 were open. At some point they started carrying register printers back and forth while there was still a major line. It took me 35 minutes to get my ticket. Next up, the line for the concession stand. The line wasn’t as long but it took forever. Again they only occupied 2 out of 8 available registers. After having waited 10 minutes I saw 2 new employees starting their shifts. Hoping they would open another register they started baking popcorn and filling cups and lids. They weren’t in a hurry at all. When they finally opened 1 additional register they started serving people that just arrived at the concession stand instead of people waiting in line. It took over 20 minutes to get a drink and some popcorn. In total I had waited almost an hour before entering the theatre. As a result I missed the pre-shows and the first 5 minutes of the movie....

Do not buy tickets online. We bought 5 tickets for the movie Girl trip online and 3 at cinemark in total 8 with seats 1 to 8 in row I. When we arrived at seat 3 were occupied and we needed to sit separate. 10 minutes into the movie 2 other people arrived and made 2 more of my friends move. Then 15 min into the movie arrived someone else and asked me to move. When I declined as my seats i bought were all occupied and the people seated had the same number as I purchased they went to management. They appeared at my seat demanding to see my ticket. When they saw I indeed had purchased seats but others occupied them she asked me to move to the front so another person could sit. I said no, in this case you should move the people you sold my seat too. She left. Not to show up again and stopping the movie..... To give a speech that made no sense as they made the mistake in the first place. Then to restart the movie at another showing time. We went there as a group. Everyone sat seperated and the movie was interupted...

Good job ruining the immersion of one of the most anticipated movies... with broken 3D!

The 3D was misaligned/broken (read: completely unwatchable) from the pre-movie trailers well into the opening scene of the movie. They even RESTARTED the movie (with the 3D still broken) No proper notification from staff or apology or anything such as a refund or some form of compensation.

After (not) seeing the opening scene TWICE with broken 3D it was "suddenly" fixed.

Great way of promoting...
