Prachtig wandelgebied in Limburg. Vanuit uit Eys langs de spoorbaan en de Eyserbeek. Beekje kom je meerdere malen tegen tijden de wandeling. Kristalhelder water en een mooi kabbelend stroompje. Leukste plekje van de tocht is de spoortunnel waarbij de beek ook door de tunnel Loopt. Je loopt op een verhoogde kade van een meter breed met naast je de rivier. Erg leuk en een aanrader.

Waterstand is beduidend verhoogd door "het damwerk* van de bevers. Het bruggetje stond zelfs onder water. Mijn jonge labrador reu trok me in al zijn enthousiasme " kopje onder". Ik ging echt onder tot mijn kruin. In al die jaren, en dat zijn er inmiddels 65, heb ik nog nooit zo'n hoge waterstand...

Zeer mooie rustige plek. Je kan er nog voetje baden. Het water is zeer zuiver en honden zijn toegelaten. We zijn met de kinderen in de buurt gaan picknicken en we zijn gebleven tot het donker was. Ze...
