Cmart Aruba — Local services in Oranjestad (city)

As a tourist, the two large, popular grocery options are Super Foods and C Mart. Super Foods is way too chaotic, has poor produce options, and overall doesn't have the variety/options that I'm looking for. For example, Super Foods didn't have ramen. They also require a coin to get a shopping cart, and they do not allow you to take the carts to the parking lot. Cmart is not like this.

Cmart is the clear winner. It's a lot more quiet, you don't feel rushed, it has a great produce and deli section that puts Super Foods to shame. IMO, they have a lot more options and variety.

Aruba is pretty conscience about plastics and trash. So they do not provide plastic bags. At checkout, Cmart employees offered and boxed up our groceries (similar to Costco). Super Foods did not offer us this option.

If you have a car, I'd recommend Cmart over...

I am a tourist in aruba and have been here for 10 days. I have visited stores such as super foods, ling and sons and witnessed exceptional customer service there. C mart has a hopeless customer service and very rude sales people. A sales lady named ‘rebecca’ at c mart was very rude to my husband. We wanted to purchase quilts and my husband touched a quilt to see the material. Rebecca snatched the quilt from my husband and said its not allowed to touch the quilts. My husband respectfully asked that how do we check the material of sheets and quilt if we cant touch them. She just walked away eventhough she heard my husband. Then my husband asked if there are any open quilts he can check, she bluntly replied no.

C mart needs to train sales people , so that they learn customer service.

Hands down the best store on the island. It’s a dream store. Way better than the overcrowded semi-fresh Superfoods (our expensive cut honeydew was bad and had to be tossed right away) or Ling&Sons. It’s spaced out and clean. Easy to park and don’t have to pay for a cart. You can grab food and enjoy it while kids play on the playground. They have many grab and go options from sushi to chicken to sandwiches and wraps etc . The bakery looks amazing!! It’s an incredible store that literally has everything. For comparison , Cmart would be like an immaculate Super Target with a playground while superfoods would be a Walmart and...
