Had a very unpleasant experience with Island Life Texel!|We stayed in the Island Life Beach House (x2) on 21/04/2024 and after checking out the owner refused to pay the security deposit claiming that we checked out late!|The check-out time was 10 am (which is quite early) and it was 11.30 am when we packed the bags and checked out from the place. there were 10 of us and we put an extra effort to wash all the dishes, clean the place and even to take out the garbage to leave the place in the same condition that was given to us. Nevertheless we were treated with disrespect and rudeness!|There were no bookings for the next day and it didn't even impact the cleaning as we left before the cleaning began. The extra 1.5 hours that we took did not cause ANY financial damage / losses to them but yet the owner refused to pay the security deposit which I believe is very dishonest!!|(the security deposit should only be claimed if there are any financial losses or damages involved)|Utterly disappointed with the service!|It is unfortunate because we were planning to return to the place as we are frequent travelers and some of us are professional travel bloggers.|Would not recommend this...

8 Aug t/m 11 Aug 2025 verbleven wij in the island life in Comfort kamer 3. De kamer is wel erg klein en op de foto’s lijkt de kamer groter. We werden bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen en rondgeleid. We hadden de eerste avond de wellness geboekt, om 22:00 maar wilde de reservering toch graag eerder naar 20:00 dit was geen probleem en makkelijk geregeld met Monika. De wellness was erg fijn wel zat er veel te veel chloor in de jacuzzi (3 gloor tabletten) en een te grote drijver voor de grote van de jacuzzi, en niet alle jets werkte ( wellness kost €42 voor 2 uur dus wel prijzig voor wat je krijgt ondanks dat was het wel fijn) Toen we rondgeleid werden gaf Monika aan dat we het beste het rolgordijn dicht konden houden omdat de zon er in de na middag opstond, en we konden gebruik maken van de ventilator. ‘s nachts helaas ( alle nachten) wakker geweest enkele keren omdat het zelfs met raam open ( buiten toen 16 graden) benauwd en erg warm was. Op de gang was het ijskoud dus de temperatuur verhouding was niet heel fijn. Het ziet er op t oog netjes uit, maar als je langer in de kamer bent merk je dat er veel stof aanwezig was bijv. Met de ventilator aanzetten kwam er een stof wolk in m’n gezicht :(

De handdoeken werden netjes gewisseld als je ze had gebruikt en in de wasmand had gedaan. De locatie is erg fijn en mooi met grote tuin en buiten keuken waar je gebruik van kunt maken. Uitchecken ging makkelijk

Volgens de site zou er een borg zijn maar de borg hebben wij nooit hoeven betalen daar is niet om gevraagd

Tijdens ons verblijf hebben we wel kleine rode bultjes opgelopen mogelijk bedwantsen of door dat er te veel chloor in de jacuzzi zat ( de bultjes van bedwantsen en chloor lijken op elkaar dus lastig te zeggen) Na 5 dagen zijn de bultjes er nog en hebben we veel jeuk.

Ik zal hier nog specifieke sterren geven. Ontvangst: 5/5 Wellness 3/5 Kamer 3/5 Temperatuur kamer: 2/5 Service 5/5 Bed 3/5 Douche: 3/5 (douchekop paste niet goed in de houder veder fijne douche) Accommodatie netheid: 3/5 Locatie: 5/5 Parkeren: 4/5 Uitchecken: 5/5

Mijn algeheel eind oordeel is een 3,5 van de 5 sterren.

We hebben een beetje gemixte gevoelens over ons verblijf. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad maar er waren wel wat puntjes waardoor het wat minder was zoals verwacht.

We zouden wel nog overwegen om terug te gaan als we nog eens naar Texel gaan, mits de prijs interessant is nu vonden we het redelijk prijzig voor wat we kregen en mogelijk een...
