The 3rd line of defence is treatment of your infection with antivirus medication. Also in hospital, if still available, and not overwhelmed by Covid-19.

The last resort is a ventilator with about 50% chance of survival for the unvaccinated. Fully vaccinated people in the present 4th wave in Germany end up in hospital very rarely. I hope here in NZ we will not need too many waves until we all have built up our 2nd line of defence.

We went at 8 pm and was amazed at the love and trust they had in humanity that compells or rather inspires one to be be trustworthy. We used our phone torches to gather our produce and weighed it ourselves and then wrote lists and paid through the EFTPS machine that was there. It was a wonderful experience.
