I have been a repeat customer of Mr. Henry Cherries year after year as they have a very superior product. However, its Customer Service has let them, and me, down big time.
After ordering, I became aware that delivery to my intended address would not be possible, so five days before the expected delivery I contacted Mr. Henry Cherries seeking a redirection of delivery. Its Customer Service advised me that labels had already been printed and that redirection of delivery was not possible.
Mr. Henry Cherries' agent for delivery was New Zealand Post Couriers, which meant if a tracking number was supplied to me I could reorganise a delivery. I requested the tracking number, in several emails, and finally received it today, which is a day after New Zealand Post tried to deliver those cherries.
After receiving that advice from Mr. Henry Cherries' Customer Service, I waited for delivery at the originally specified address, but it was delivered to a redirected address, even after being told that it would not be possible by Mr. Henry Cherries Customer Service, because the delivery address labels had already been printed for the original address.
It is not fair or reasonable to expect me to be in two places at once, so the delivery was missed. Now New Zealand Post want me to collect my order from the other side of Auckland , whilst my cherries sit in a hot warehouse waiting for me to collect them. I refuse to do that. Mr. Henry Cherries you owe me fresh cherries.
I should seriously consider scrubbing fresh cherries from our family's...
Read moreI ordered my cherries months in advance and they never turned up on the delivery date I had requested. I had requested a delivery date of 28/12 and according to NZ Post courier's tracking they left the seller's on the evening of 27/12, arrived at the Chch Airport depot on in the early hours of 29/12 (so they were never even in Chch on the intended delivery date) and eventually landed on my doorstep on the afternoon of 29/12. They were lukewarm from sitting god knows where for almost two days!! Not only were they lukewarm, they looked like they were picked days ago, hardly fresh at all! The cherries I saw in the supermarket this morning looked a truckload fresher than these. If my cherries are going to be delayed then at the very least refrigerate them until they are delivered! I have contacted Mr Henry Cherries on both email and on Facebook Messenger wanting to know the whereabouts of my cherries and they have not even had the decency to reply. Looking at other's reviews this seems to be a very common issue. They also don't appear to have a contact phone number so trying to get in touch with them is next to useless. I've bought from this business for several years but never again and I certainly won't be recommending...
Read moreI had ordered 3 boxes on the grab one deal where they had advertised buy a box of cherries get an 12 pack of cherry cola. To start the disappointment they delivered the cola 2 weeks after promised and then the cherries were meant to arrive on the 19th but didn’t arrive until the 24th which they only delivered one box not 3. Now they only want to refund me $40 a box when they it was $66 which is completely unacceptable, under zero circumstances I would have ordered the cola for $26 and i asked if they could just send the replacement boxes later in the month as the have availability but they claim they don’t. Apparently I am not the only one having major problems with this company this year. I will not only get the refund i deserve but will get charged extra fees because of being a international credit card therefore I i won’t even get $40 a box back after spending $66. People save your money and time and...
