My wife and I had the best experience with the Martinborough Wine Tour while visiting New Zealand and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

To start it off, Matthew made all the logistics flawless. He was very responsive via email as we were planning our trip and then he made the pick up and drop off so easy for us. Having not been to the area before, I didn’t need to worry about anything because Matthew handled it all.

Our tour guide and driver, Trinity, was an absolute delight. She is so well travelled and had so many great stories to share. She is extremely knowledgeable of the town of Martinborough, each of the wineries we visited, and of the whole wine making process. She was able to answer any questions we had.

I highly recommend Martinborough Wine Tours. My wife and I, age 70, and our 33 year old daughter went on a wine tour with Martinborough Wine Tours in April 2025. We had a wonderful experience on a tour with two other parties, both of whom were doing mother/daughter or parents & daughter tours. So it was great to see the two age groups enjoy each other's company and find out about lots of new wines in this great wine making region. Our guide was Matthew Finn, who was very knowledgeable about the history of the region, the geology that makes it such a great location to grow wine, the wineries we visited and he is a pretty good wine expert himself. We had the most wonderfull tour we could have imagined! Matthew was such a good guide, knowing everything about wine and every vineyard - and there are a lot of them around! He selected a perfect mix of smaller and larger ones for our tastings - and all the wines were outstanding and so fascinatingly different! Matthew even took us to the place of one of his friends to try some wine just out of the barrel, which was a great experience.
