Everyone should do the whole loop in this place. Just keep in mind not to disturbed seals and birds natural inhabitant. Saw few people get too close to the animals and saw birds getting so unhappy and leaving their babies behind. Maybe they should translate some of the instructions to chinese coz they seems to linger so close to the birds nest. Stay away people and just look at them in a safe distance.

Great spot along the peninsula walkway to take in the seals and local birdlife. Steep climb to the top of the hill in the middle of the area and a not particularl formed track so be wary of seals. Please leave the animals alone they do not need your phone being shoved in their face! Enjoy them from a distance and spend some time watching them do their thing!

A must do when going past Kaikoura. The walks aren't long (2hr max) and can be shortened to just the view points if you don't have the time.
