The smell of stale oil & the hustle of the back of house staff working hard was my initial impression of 275 Kai. Over salted was my taste experience after sampling my burgers. Steak pieces were gristly & tough in my OAMZ but the egg was perfectly runny & the bacon not overcooked. However the Panko coated chicken in the SNR 275 was dry & tough. Friendly & helpful counter service for a first time customer even though I could see they have had a busy dinner period & I’d arrived an hour before their closing time. This was our first time trying this place 18/05/24 and it was well worth the hype. The customer service was on point 110% the food exceeded my expectations. We ordered two pineapple kuttz combos. The chips were hot just as I like them and the chicken was juicy and crispy with the panco breadcrumbs the bacon was perfectly crispy and the two pineapples were toasted with cheese which gave it a Hawaiian taste. Fresh, delicious, and so well priced! My husband and I had heard good things so decided to support local and give it a go. The protein salad bowl was laden with succulent chicken, bacon and prawns and the salad was fresh as! Hubby got the loaded wedges which were also topped with fresh salsa and the perfect ratio of sour cream. The crew behind the kai were efficient and friendly and the music was bumping!
