Skydive Wellington — Local services in Masterton

I was completely disappointed with their services. I called a week before my jump and a man answered the phone sounding like he was not inside a facility (i.e.. wind blowing, mechanical noises, car noises). He proceeded to ask me to call back later. After calling back later we established a time that I would jump for that Sunday. I called to confirm the morning of my jump that it was at 2 p.m. as scheduled and the woman on the phone told me to come in 2 hours later than scheduled because of a big group of other jumpers that we scheduled at the same time I was. Masterton is an hour and a half away from Wellington City, so getting a hold of a secure time was very important to me. Then half way into my drive there she calls me back to declare that it is too windy for me to jump at this point in the day. I was very unhappy because if I were to come on time as scheduled it would not have been "too windy" two hours earlier. I even asked if I could come the next day and she replied that "we are a small company and unfortunately we only are open on weekends." Hi Guys, Just want to say a big THANKS to all the team there at 0800Skydive. I had a recent jump there that was, how can i put it, AMAZING!!! Absolutely fantastic! Easily booked my day and time over the phone, traveled over from Wellington and was attended to when I arrived. Marty was awesome: got me sorted quick smart and with a friendly smile. Hudson was my tandem instructor; just crazy cool! Picture perfect day, not a single nerve to be had (surprisingly!) and the biggest and longest smile ever to be had on my face! Thanks to this professional team for just doing what they do best.
