On the first visit I was really happy with everything, texture, flavour, value all great, curry was a little sweet but not hugely so.
On the second visit though the bhajis were excessively sweet and a bit soft/soggy and this time I ordered the cauliflower potato curry, which was so sweet it could've been served as a desert and the potato was so overcooked it was liquid. The naan was still great.
Spice levels seem like "kiwi" spice levels, so medium is like "the chef imagined a chilli while cooking this" it is worth noting though that the spice level was a bit better on my first visit so the disolved potato in my second curry may have neutered the spice...
Read moreReally impressed with the quality of food here! We got a butter chicken and lamb biriyani with plain naan. Lamb biryani was so flavourful with big pieces of soft, pull apart lamb meat all through it. The butter chicken was creamy with a generous amount of chicken pieces too, however we found it too sweet. Service was friendly but the takeaway order took over half an hour to come out when we were told to wait just 5 minutes. We understand that it was a busy Saturday night with a lot of orders, but we would have appreciated a more accurate estimation of the wait...

The seafood curry had a great selection including prawns and scallops etc etc and the chicken mango was full of generous sized chunks. Although we each ordered the small takeaways with the rice, there was enough to have a second meal at a later date. The Naan breads are huge and one was enough for both of us.
