Golden Bowl Takeaway — Local services in North Island

Bring your cash as there is no EFTPOS, but don't let that deter you from some yummy takeaways. This team have restored my faith in wontons with the generous filling and good value at $7'for a dozen.

We had the combination fried rice which was delicious and offered good ratio of meat, rice and vegetables.

The sweet and sour pork was a bit unusual - cubes of battered pork in sweet and sour sauce, but they still were tasty.

For our young-uns, the hotdogs (on a stick) were eaten up and fries were also tasty.

Finally, one steamed pork bun that was perfect.

All that was around $35 and we're pretty happy with that value.

Looking forward to trying some more dishes next time from their overwhelmingly...

Great tasting food with nice big portions made by a cute couple who really care about doing a good job! The only thing more one could ask for is the ability to pay by card but you know what... they don't give damn! You bring cash or you don't get their delicious food!! Still, it's worth...

Delicious Steak & Blackbean Sauce as recommended by the delightful owners & a wonderful Combination Fried Rice with lovely light rice and plenty of goodies. All at a great price. A real hidden gem that's been going for over 30years! Bring cash 'cos they don't do no eftpos...respect!...
