I went to one of the teen school holiday camps and had a terrible experience. First of all I am a competitive rider but was placed in a group with people who didn't know how to canter, Secondly the people were very mean and nasty, Thirdly I told the instructor of my group (a teenager who was incharge of 12 horses and teens) that my horse wouldn't stop and I felt had the potential to bolt but she just said it was fine. Than on the big trek the horse did indeed bolt on a canter, luckily I got it to finally slow just before running another horse but VERY dangerous and only one person asked if I was okay but I had to keep riding the same horse and for some context after 5 days of riding him my very expensive gloves were destroyed but I had them for 6 months with my own two horses and they were perfectly fine that shows how impossible he was to stop.bSo would not recommend this...

Kiwi ranch rotorua 80z and 90z ..I went there every school hoildays... wasn't like a school camp but a hoilday camp... loved ittttttt...every little thing even the old ricky roller coaster... back then kids were kids we didn't care about getting hurt im sure we actually didn't even think about it..we just got on having fun... even the one arm kitchen hand man .. best times ever...oh and the tuck shop whoop... you always new when u had landed in rotorua the bus will stop at gas station first the smell would enter through the windows just as we all use to jump out of our sets to close them...and the stories of the haunted room on the lower level man that freaked kids out with the stories and tears of personal experience they said they had at nights... Manu was my favourite horse...still remember team leaders name Anna and Rebecca... honest to who it's was...

Our stay and facilities were perfect for the purpose we needed it for. Somethings were getting upgraded which was great as its needed overall. Bruce and Maree were amazing, Caleb was super helpful and awesome too. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time here. Lots of activities to keep the kids entertained.

Just BEWARE when it comes to the booking terms and conditions on the website and your refunds (refundable booking deposits and refundable cleaning fee). Took Ainslee 4 weeks of different excuses before concluding she would not be refunding what was originally told to us by Ian. Extremely disappointing outcome. spent over $3K and feel like I’ve been misled and lied to. This was a terrible experience contrast to the experience we had onsite, and changed my review accordingly. Would’ve been 5/5 if it wasn’t for this. Am considering...
