I had such a lovely time at Lavender Backyard Garden. The place is absolutely awesome πΏ. You can smell the lavender all the way from the carpark and down the street π
They do require people to make a booking π but only so that they can manage the numbers under the current traffic light π¦Since it wasn't too busy, I was able to slip in, but others might be disappointed when they get here. It costs $6 to enter, which goes towards maintenance, and which I don't think is too expensive for the experience π€
It's not very big, but it is big enough to have a fabulous time π There are benches, so you can have a lovely picnic, or buy some coffee from the caravan and enjoy the sweet smells while sipping some delicious coffee β
They have a great little shop that sells all sorts of lavender products that is made on site π I wanted to buy everything! The ladies are very friendly and helpful π
Bonus: There is also a huge blueberry orchard, and you can go blueberry picking π³π³ How fantastic is that?! They also sell yummy blueberry ice cream, with a hint...

We'll come back for just a mum and baby trip, but not good value for a family activity if you want to buy gift store things too. I think they are surviving on tourists going, but would get much more business from locals if it were a good family day activity, and...
