National Storage Kenepuru, Wellington — Local services in North Island

Recently moved into a storage unit in Kenepuru, Wellington.

I received email asking me to leave feedback which brought me to this page, 'posting publicly across Google' but thought I'd better feedback directly, rather than publicly. However, link in email takes you to an Australian website with no option to select a NZ 'nearest store' so I can't provide feedback directly.

Soooo, I had a very poor experience moving into my unit. Everything done online to book the unit so my first visit was when the site was unstaffed but during opening hours. Found my unit but parking only available near to the door if you block a route for others. Fortunately no-one needed to get access. Parking was on a slope so you can't use a trolley, meaning you have to carry it to a trolley at the door. The trolley itself (ie the only one) had a stuck centre wheel so it didn't want to go in the direction I wanted to move things. Overall, really poor first impression, poor setup and poor equipment.

We had our items in storage at Storage Solution in Porirua for almost a year. In that time we never had to worry about the safety and security of our items. The security was fantastic with the cameras, onsite security 24 x 7, swipe tokens to enter the facility and the padlocks on each of the units. The units were all in fantastic condition, well ventilated and fitted with pest control as well to protect our items from any unwanted visitors :) We always found Sharon to be really helpful and pleasant to deal with. We would definitely use Storage solutions in Porirua again and would recommend Storage Solutions as a place to store your precious...

We were very happy with the service provided by Storage Solutions (Porirua branch) for the following reasons:

We found the staff friendly and helpful.

Having 24 hour access to our unit was a big plus for us as we were able to go to the unit when it suited us (with some other companies you can only get access to your unit when it suits them).

The security arrangements at the Porirua branch are very good.

The storage unit we had was clean and dry and our belongings came out of storage in exactly the same state as they were when they went in.

In summary we would highly recommend...
