I bought 2 pairs of curtains online but when they arrived I found them to be not as what I was specifically looking for (I used the website filter for thermal and blockout). They were thin and the label on the packaging says ''dim out" instead of blockout. So I came to the store for an exchange, but the lady at the curtain section was just the least friendly customer service I have ever encountered, she blamed me for picked out the wrong kind (I still have the screenshot of the product on the website being describe as blockout, I showed that to her, but she did not mind to have a look!). I was not happy with the curtains overall, but did not have the time to browse around with 2 babies with me . Also with the way the lady is being like she's in a rush, telling me that the blockout ones are more expensive, I just wanted to make the process quick, so paid for the difference and went home. Only to realised she gave me curtains with packaging that I'm pretty sure has been opened with photocopied label/paper. After hung for a week in my son's bedroom I found out the curtains has lots of super thin marks that allow the light to come through. So dissapointing, I do not even want to step my feet inside the store anymore, not even for another exchange after: wrong information (filter) on website, unfriendly customer service, given reject goods...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreSpotlight is the home of craft ware - basically anything you want in that line - they also sell materials, curtains, bedding, kitchenware and soft furnishings - a huge range and known as the one stop for any of these items. This is the only Spotlight store in Wellington with the next nearest being Spotlight Kapiti in Paraparaumu. I went to get replacement wooden curtain rings with curtain hook eyelets - tried all the normal stores in and around Wellington City including Placemakers, Bunnings, Warehouse, Briscoes without luck and so headed to Kaiwharawhara to check out Spotlight and Lewis's. Whilst Spotlight had what I was after and at a very reasonable price, I found some excellent decorative metal rings with nylon easyglide inserts - these were a little more expensive but perfect for my need and I left as a very satisfied customer and 30 high quality rings. Parking is good, easy location to find, staff at checkout counter efficient & courteous. Staff at curtains & materials section at rear of store helpful and knowledgeable as to what was in stock and recommended ring sizes for various curtain rod diameters. I have previously purchased children's craft supplies at this store and can add that they have an overwhelming array of...
