Great easy access to a very interesting beach. Beach is full of shells of great size and variety. The sites themselves were cramped amongst the trailer park sites and had more of a feeling of just being short term rentals until those filled. There was a big room full of freezers and fridges, so that amenity was taken care of, but the kitchen and bathrooms were full of fixtures and appliances from decades past and really not well maintained. Pros-4 Kitchen sinks, free hot water showers, two blocks of toilets and showers, onsite cafe, owner was lovely, close to beach and very reasonable priced. $20 for unpowered site- 2 people. Cons- The bathrooms were cleaned from 8.30am to 9.30am which didn't make sense to us as that is when people use them the most. Read moreThis to me is a real campground. Ten dollars a night, free hot showers. I parked my van on the grass just by the beach access. Super quiet and right near the ocean. The owners are chill as anything. No checkout time, just told to hangout and leave when I wanted. Lots of people living here, but don't make you feel unwelcome as a backpacker, extremely friendly.
