I love this shop and frequent it. Most of the staff are friendly. However today I had a bad experience with a staff member working there. My partner and I drove to the place, he stopped to dump recycling and I walked to the spot where you drop off unwanted stuff as I had a insect trap that was in good condition but we didn't want any more. As I approached the drop off spot, a male staff member stopped me and said in a very stern tone ' we don't accept walk-ins, you need to drive here.' I was taken aback. I said 'what's the point? Read moreI used to love this place and certainly love the concept. However the rigid approach of staff is creating unhappy experiences. I had trouble with car and could not open to donate goods so I parked and carried goods over. Cue long lecture. Today I took four high quality options that could generate high price but they would not take the fourth item. It’s a mission to get there and one does not want to take half of it away. Please be more flexible and consider the experience of your generous doners. A charity shop was delighted...
