Three Forks — Local services in North Island

We recently hosted a Matariki celebration event at The Verandah and utilised their catering services, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the entire experience!

From the moment we started planning, the team was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive to our needs. They made sure every detail was perfect, and their communication was outstanding throughout the process.

The venue itself is stunning – beautifully maintained and equipped with everything we needed to make our event a success. The ambience was perfect, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all our guests.

The catering was exceptional! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and exceeded our expectations. They even provided a hangi, which was not on the menu, and it was a huge hit with everyone. There were rave reviews from all our guests about the quality and taste of the dishes. The catering staff was also top-notch, providing impeccable service with a smile.

This was actually our second event at The Verandah, and we returned because of how great they are. My whole experience with Three Forks was phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for better caterers for our wedding. The food was fantastic - delicious and creative flavours, perfectly cooked and the finest meat and produce, including top quality steak and a platter of the freshest shellfish and seafood available - not something you often see at a wedding, especially one that is in a remote rural farm setting! The portions were very generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. Again, I was blown away by the talent and professionalism, especially given the team had to bring in everything, even a portable kitchen! Scott, Kerri and the team were so hard working and outstanding to deal with -friendly, prompt communicators who went out of their way to respond to our every question. We had 3Forks team cater for our wedding in December last year and WOW. From our menu tasting a few months before our wedding, we knew we made the right decision in choosing them. We absolutely LOVED the food and it was a shame we weren't able to each much during our wedding day haha! Their communication is great, so easy to work with from start to finish. We wondered on our wedding day why one of our entrees changed from pork belly to pulled pork. We emailed them about this after our wedding and Scott promptly replied and said that it was a last minute change by the chef because they weren't happy with the quality of the pork supplied to them the night before. They made this change to ensure high quality of food delivered to us. Our guests were raving about the food after the wedding.
