Wow! We live in Wellington but were staying in Martinborough for the weekend and had booked an Airbnb. Becky came to us with all her equipment and showed us the night sky - she explained things so clearly it was easy to understand and SO interesting! Everyone in the group (even people who weren’t that enthusiastic beforehand) were amazed by what they saw. Absolutely stunning! We were excited in anticipation of this experience but the night itself exceeded all expectations. The clouds were a bit against us at times but Becky was so deeply knowledgeable and her bubbly enthusiasm for the night sky was utterly infectious. It was like hanging out with an old friend! What a great experience, absolutely loved seeing the moon up close and personal with binoculars and a big telescope, and learning some navigation and history in a unique, interactive way. Becky is lots of fun and full of knowledge. Very flexible service, we booked last minute and Becky even came to us after a night class to make it happen, because the night we'd booked was forecast to be cloudy. Now that's dedication!
