Waikato River — Local services in North Island

Waikato river I've had a lot of fun on over the year's great for fishing ,swimming, skiing ,boating hunting I've done over the year's from Taupo to Waikato head's & now they have a track right a long it were u can walk or push bike a long I have been all over the river but arapuni lake I live & work on farm along the lake & then I run a farm contract milking just out of arapuni village were I also be came the President of the arapuni worker man's club so the river has been part of my life & fun for many year such a great place in the summer some great place's up the lake bush ,waterfalls, birds great fishing , pigs in the bush ,swan ,ducks shooting cabin in bush a long the lake that people built over the years can see glow worm a night then the other end of lake there is white bait & there r eel's right along the river & fresh water crayfish small but very taste if u no how...

Actually I live alongside the river in the village up on the hill and what an awesome sight it is to see as well as the traffic pounding along on the motorway. There's one particular place you can pull off the motorway that will get you close to the river which is roughly about 100 metres on your left heading north from the bottom of the Bombay hill on your right.
