Have played Arrowtown golf course alot and has been up to a great standard except this time customer service was very poor. Golf course was in bad condition especially the tee boxes. I paid green fees and was not told that the greens had been just cord. Should have been a discount like every other golf course in the area. The girl at the pro shop just didn’t want to be there and was so unhelpful. I’ve been in retail for over 35 years so all I can say is that she would be looking for a new job if she worked in my business. Felt a bit like a "Mickey mouse" design after a while - a bit of a one-trick pony. However the fact that they built a course on this rugged terrain is a testament to the creativity if the architect and ingenuity the builders.

Each tee box begs the question, ‘where do I hit my ball’ as the fairways meander around rock outcrops, huge grassy hills and a smattering of native trees. It is a wonderfully challenging course and relies heavily on mother nature to contour the holes. The only sand bunker you will find is on the practice area!
