Worst moving company ever! I have been using Crown Relocations most of my time in NZ, however, being in the Military, I was forced to use NZ Vanlines....First of all, their salesman(i forget his name, i think it was darren) was extremely condescending, telling me that some of my belongings were "garbage". When it came to the first day of packing, I only had 1 person there, who had only started that week. He had no idea what he was doing, and quite frankly, I feel like I could have done a better job myself. The next day, I had 2 people show up.....the same guy from the day before, and another guy who had been working there for 2 weeks. They were just as bad as each other! The only saving grace for this company, was the truck driver, who arrived on the third day, who seemed to know what was going on....however, he spent most of his day fixing the packing the other 2 had done. Most other moves I have had, were done before 3pm, however this crew was there until 6pm, leaving me barely any time to get to the Ferry I was supposed to be on that night. Upon arrival of my belongings, a lot of the boxes that were packed, had been crushed, and a lot of the contents were damaged. The crew who delivered this in Burnham, said that the boxes were not packed well, and most of the boxes were only half full, leaving a lot of room for the boxes to be compressed/crushed. I just hope insurance can cover all of this.

By far, this is the best move we have ever had, we have had probably 100 plus moves between my family which we normally do ourselves with trailers, utes, friends and family.

Your guys/team are, in our eyes, one of the world’s best moving companies. The team we had arrive were fantastic guys and we have loved working with them. We did enjoy having the same team each day, we built a relationship with them and trust. It was a stress free operation. Simply the best!

My father, 84, whom we were helping make his last house move, downsizing his home, which was emotional and challenging, enjoyed the team we had packing up his worldly possessions. They were kind, sensitive and patient with him and us. Thank you all. The unpacking was quick and efficient, no breakages and exceptional wrapping. We just called NZ Van Lines when we had all boxes unpacked and they came and picked it all up. We would absolutely recommend...

37 Moston Road, Whanganui 4500. My wife and I wish to acknowledge the professionalism of Zach, Latrell, Lance, Shaun the MUSCLE! and the youngest of the group Emori. Zach and his crew were amazing the first day we met them. After showing the boys what was going in the container they went to work straight away. They created a perfect working environment with their music and laughter. Two days later they returned and the positive energy was a joy to be around. These young men will succeed in any working situation they choose to pursue. Tēnā koutou e ngā tama, he pai rawa atu te mahi. Also want to thank Chris Mainwaring who was our first point of contact and was always contactable when we had questions about the moving process.
