Terrible experience. Just like a real doctor - no bedside manner and can't fix the problem. I have just had to fix the door myself!! After they attended, I had to ring back, because the door was not closing properly still. Originally rang because one spring had broken on our garage door. We replaced all of the springs ourselves, but we could not get the door to open and close with the automatic opener. We called the Door Doctor, who came out two days later, but we had to stay home all day as they couldn't give a time :(. Matt was here about 25 minutes, charged me $127, and didn't fix the problem. When the technician left (after I had paid), I noticed the door was not actually closing, a fact that wasn't shown to me before I paid. The door is now scraping the paint off the jamb too. I called and spoke to Nigel as soon as I was aware and he said he would speak to Matt and try to arrange for him to come back. Matt arranged to come back in the morning. The office then called and said Matt wouldn't be coming and I needed a new arm on the door. Neither Debbie or Nigel would listen to me when I said that there is no reason why the door should not be closing, as it was closing correctly before, but now was not. In fact, they would both keep speaking over me. Nigel said the door was hitting the ground so could not close properly and they were the experts. They said I needed new arms and that was the problem AND THEY WOULDN'T COME OUT. I HAVE JUST FIXED THE DOOR MYSELF!! BY READING THE MANUAL!! Clearly your 'senior techninican Matt' needs more training.

Door Doctor are in clear breach of the customer guarantees act both in the reasonable skill section and they did not advise prior to the job that they could not do it properly. A reputable compnay would have attended to see the problem

They are very rude and don't know how to adjust the garage doors -Find the manual and do it yourself. Don't waste your money.

I had a wonderful chap call Matthew come out to see me re: my garage doors. I have 2 single garage tilt doors that were noisy, shaky and sometimes only opened/closed part way which was so annoying. Matty came out the very next morning bang on time (I'm a very timely person) and went about servicing the doors first then take it from there. As it turns out the doors have never been serviced, (we are new to the property) in fact the bolts holding the doors to the ceiling were so loose it was an accident waiting to happen! He fixed all of that, did maintenance on all the parts of the door and left us with lovely quiet, non shaky garage doors - awesome! Matty was sooooooo knowledgeable, giving tips on how to best keep the doors working well and overall was super efficient, friendly and I would highly recommend him to ANYONE! 10 out of 10 Matty...

These guys were terrible. The tech came out on a Saturday to fix the buildings garage door that had broken. We are an apartment building so there a quite a few of us living there. We needed to go out so asked if the door was broken as his van was parked in the middle of the garage in the way. He said it was fixed and that he'd be 5 minutes. After waiting in our car to go out my husband asked if he could move his van so we could leave. He then swore at my husband and finally left. We called the owener of the company to complain and are still waiting for a response. The garage door then broke again on Wednesday. So not only bad customer service but also obviously don't know what...
