My daughter and myself decided to do the river rafting last Sunday, the weather was perfect and the river was so clear. We were provided with a wetsuit, boots, helmet and after a health and safety blurb which Andrew made entertaining we were off. We practiced a bit of paddling and headed for as much white water as we could find. It was a lot of fun, you had to hold on but felt quite safe. Further down the river we pulled up to a cliff face and did cliff jumping into the river which was cold but not as cold as I was expecting. Heading off again we met up with Brendon in the jet boat and minutes later we were racing back up the gorge cutting so close to rock faces and then 360 spins which was a hell of a lot of fun. We really loved our morning on the river and highly recommend Andrew and Brendon who are great hosts and really know what they are doing.

Jet boat experience here was awesome. The jet boat is a bit smaller than what you see in Queenstown but does not compromise on anything. Great views, great driver who gives you info about the area and the river etc.. and ofcourse those 360 spins which is fun! It was pretty quiet when we visited in the first week of November 2023 and our schedule was moved as the slots we booked were empty and not enough to ride. If you are travelling from overseas please ensure you provide them with your local number so they can contact you in case that happens. Its a good idea to visit here first and then go down to the thermal springs which is barely a 10 minutes drive from here. Note: Steep walk down to the boats and climb back up when you are done.

What an incredible jet boating experience. We have tried plenty of jet boatings earlier but this was the best one . It took us approximately 45 mins . And Brendon really knew the river well and we came to know about cool historical facts related to bridge and mountains and the river itself . And what a compassionate soul Neeta is . We took our parents and my father has some breathing issues as it is lil steep walk to reach the boat . So my father got breathing issues. That beautiful woman made sure that papa was safe and sound and went beyond to take care of him as well . We walked back to amuri jet office . She chatted with us and made sure that papa is doing fine before we left . What a compassionate kindhearted woman . Providing an incredible recreational activity experience is one thing but to take care of your customers accordingly takes you on another level for not just as a business but what kind of person you are . And Neeta you are amazing. Thank you . Definitely worth going back whenever we wanna go jet boating . We will come back all the way from Auckland to do it in...

(Based of international standards). I felt disappointed with the 4wd buggy experience. I have done the same in Queenstown and the experience was completely different. We were given boots, coats, helmets goggles, gloves to protect our clothes. We were only given a helmet here. I had sore eyes at the end of the the track due to so much dust that got into my eyes from the quad Bikes in front of us. I specifically asked for boots as I and another of my companions had brand new white shoes. The guide genuinely forgot them and I Ended up with dirty shoes. Also, I believe they should match skill levels (as they do in Queenstown) as we had a very nervous person riding a quad bike at the front that made us all go at 10kms (as per dashboard in my vehicle). My own 6 yrs old was getting bored due to lack of adrenaline. The slow rider at the front completely ruined the ride we were expecting to have. I am giving 3 stars as we were given a good discount on this trip otherwise it could easily be a 2. I hope this posts serves others looking to book adventures in...

We went on the 3-seater buggie, myself, wife and son; Peter was our guide. The experience was way beyond any expectation. We traversed the interior of many streams and rivers, inclines and declines with plenty of mud, slips and slides amidst a dreamy backdrop of unforgettable mountains and verdant green pastoral land: the kind that entrenches in one's memory. Some of the river crossings were a bit challenging at first due to recent rain, but completing them had you feel like a playful child revelling in achieving something unique and different.

My family were grinning the entire time.

Our guide Peter was really easy and comfortable to talk with and gave interesting commentary on the geography of the land. He was having just as much infectious fun as the group and you could see the pure enjoyment he gets from his work. One couldn't ask for a greater guide.

If you’re considering this, don't hesitate as it is more than worth it, and you will have a wonderful guide in Peter to share the experience with.

Thanks for the memories. We...
