THANK YOU GOLDEN BAY AIR! We had a fabulous experience during our scenic flight from Motueka with amazing weather. The tour we booked was the “Golden Bay Grand Tour”, which is absolutely recommendable, because it combines several points of interest in Kahurangi National Park, Farewell Spit and Abel Tasman National Park. Our pilot made a great tour guide, flying safe with interesting comments and conversation for the 1,5 h flight. We felt very comfortable and would highly recommend it.

We want to highlight and thank especially the office team and our pilot Gus, who were very patient with us when we were late and had issues with our credit card, which led to our tour starting almost an hour later due to our fault. Their service is Above and beyond! Much more that we can expect back home. Their communication is very friendly, to the point and flexible to individualize their service to the...

My partner and I did the Grand Tour yesterday and were so pleased with our decision to take the 'ultimate' option and not miss any of these great sights. Our pilot Vincent was informative, friendly and chatty which is always much appreciated, especially when our booking had been relatively last minute and he had a big day scheduled. The Cobb Valley was a major highlight, it's not likely this would have been my first option but it ended up being our favourite section, especially the Dragon's teeth up close- absolutely exceptional. VJ is a new pilot there who accompanied us and was also friendly and helpful. Great customer service from Richard (owner) on the phone and an all round very positive experience, well worth the money. A must do in...

We used Golden Bay Air to get to Karamea from Takaka to start the Heaphy Track in the opposite direction to my other trips on the track. Our pilot Mike gave us a flight with great views of the Kahurangi and got us into Karamea on schedule. Their back office suggested building flexibility into our schedule in case of poor weather and when I did charged $100 to get an earlier flight! Cost aside it was a good idea. They also picked us up at the end of the track by shuttle to take us back to Takaka airport. Unfortunately the early 11am pickup meant a 5am wakeup and 90 minutes hiking in the dark, as a result we saw a Kiwi! Apparently everyone who walks out at that time sees a Kiwi but...

I organised transport for a party of 6 to walk the Heaphy Track in April this year. The shuttle bus driver, Tyler, picked us up promptly from our Airbnb in Nelson and dropped us at the Brown Hut carpark in plenty of time to get to Perry Hut, the same day. We were picked up at Kohaihai. The driver was extremely accommodating as one of party was carrying a serious leg injury. He took us to Karamea Airfield the next day, and Jack flew us to Nelson. All legs of our journey were great, staff were really friendly and professional. All in all a brilliant experience.

Booked a shuttle bus service from Mārahau to Takaka and another one from Takaka to Nelson. The ride was super, great views and some great conversations with the driver. We even stopped at a local farm shop to get some fresh fruit. Unfortunately the last shuttle was cancelled, but I was offered some good alternatives. The booking service team did their very best to help out. Last minute they even offered me a flight to Nelson instead of the bus. So of course I took this opportunity. It was fantastic, fabulous views of the Abel Tasman coastline! 🤩 Thanks again!
