Nice walking track around Lake Hayes near Arrowtown offering stunning views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. We saw plenty of birds on our walk around the lake including geese, ducks, fantails and crested grebes. The autumn leaves were amazing colours and framed the lake beautifully. Took us about two hours to walk around the...

Nice walking track around Lake Hayes near Arrowtown offering stunning views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. We saw plenty of birds on our walk around the lake including geese, ducks, fantails and crested grebes. The autumn leaves were amazing colours and framed the lake beautifully. Took us about two hours to walk around the entire lake.
