Maruia Hot Springs Scenic Spot — Local services in South Island

We were passing through the area so thought some hot springs time would be fun. We called the day before to confirm the package we wanted because the website was not clear. It was a Twilight package and the person we talked too explained it and said we could just walk in the next day and pay. We arrived just before 5:30...and could not find anyone to check in with. Waited about 10 minutes at front desk..knocked on office..nobody. server setting up tables for dinner was not interested in helping us. So we went looking for somebody and seeing the spa. Found nobody and started to get bad vibes about the spa....so we left. Given the feeling we started to get about the spa we will not try again...

Better than Hanmer Springs spa!!! Best spa place I have ever been. Beautiful views, amazing food, super friendly staff. And amazing natural hot water pools. The hot pools even had healing effects on our skin. It was such an amazing experience that we have planned to go over at least a minimum of 2...
