Driving range only review, based on having my own clubs: What a gem - huge 8-acre range (I measured), perfectly level and well maintained. The dozen hitting stations (6 under cover) are isolated from each other so you never have to worry about being hit by someone’s stray shot. Everything is neat and clean, with decently fresh range balls. On my first visit it was a mixture of range balls and OPs; the second time they had harvested the non-range balls - I prefer the mixed buckets. All the balls were clean and relatively new, and the price of $12/80 balls is very fair. A couple of ‘all thoughs’: having a no-bags on the range restriction is really over the top; I’m not going to steal your bags and I want all of my clubs with me, not just what a can carry from the car. I ignored the rule on my second visit as did several others. The hire clubs, on the other hand, are definitely not worthy, not even for someone who’s never played before. I suggest you put together a 3 or 4-club quiver of decent used clubs to check out to your customers, holding a drivers license until they’re returned. Make sure you have some child length clubs as well. I think their experience would be enhanced and would be more apt to return. I would love to see more targets on the range, which I know will slow down the mowing process a bit but, again, would enhance the experience. There was a blue bucket/barrel outside the door that would be a perfect target - a couple at 30m and a couple at 70m. During my two visits (so far), watching dozens of hitters, almost no one was hitting it more than 100m, with only one guy hitting it much beyond 150m. It’s obvious that the vast majority of the action is happening in the front third of the range so why not make that the most interesting and playful? I realize that the range is nothing more than a side interest for a very busy nursery, but wouldn’t it be great if you could find a way to be open in the evenings during the summer. If I were a local resident and not a visitor I would be your biggest advocate, driving every golfer I meet to your...
Read moreHusband and I took the kids here today & it was great! The shops and gardens are beautiful and went to the restaurant for lunch it was absolutely awesome - Kai was beautiful, came out fast - our server (sorry we didn’t get her name) was the best part of the experience. It really is so fantastic to see hospitality staff that know what they are doing, and know how to look after people. It really makes the whole experience of dining out somewhere when you have people like this helping you, her care and attention when helping an older couple at the table near us so was so heart warming to overhear. 👏🏽...
Read moreHow good, hidden gem - heaps to do with the family! Mini golf, maze, little trains (possibly only running on weekends may pay to ask before hand if you want a ride) great cafe/restaurant. Gardens are good for kids to run around and for adults to enjoy. There are ponds, if you can’t control your little ones maybe not for you. Good size garden shop and nursery. We have been handful of times to fill in a Sunday arvo. Also staff in the restaurant were very pleasant 😀👍 only photo I took was of the mini...
