We spent our last night in New Zealand during our roadtrip from Queenstown to Christchurch in Warwickz Farm. At first I booked a hotel in Christchurch, but when I found this farm stay very close to Christchurch (only 35-40mins drive), I decide to cancel the hotel (with hesitation from my husband children staying in a farm). Fortunately, when I first arrived here, I knew I made a right decision. I recommend for tourists in South Island who want to have farm tour or experience farm stay, you should stay in Warwickz Farm, instead of staying at hotel or only visit farm tour (which you may did not get detailed explanation on the animals). He can give you very detailed farm tour of his rare breed animals (alpacas, sheeps, goats, unique horses+donkey, unusual pigs, chickens from various breeds, goose with curly feathers, guinea pigs, Enderby rabbit and other various rabbits), letting you pat and encounter with the animals, and he did not limit the tour time (as long as not clash with his schedule)!

The farm tour itself is amazing! Chris give us private tour and he didn't limit the tour duration, because he told us he can talk about animals as long as we want (as long as he did not have another schedule of course :) ). During the tour he explain one by one of his rare-breed animals, their names, and let us to have encounter with the animals. He also show us how he hypnotize the...

I had an absolutely fantastic experience on the farm tour at Warwickz Farm with Chris as our guide. His passion for rare breeds and his extensive collection of animals truly made this tour a memorable and educational adventure.

From the moment we arrived, Chris's enthusiasm was infectious. He welcomed us with a warm smile and an eagerness to share his knowledge about the animals. Our kids were especially thrilled to meet the donkey, the miniature horse, alpacas, and those adorable Chinese Silkie chickens.

The tour was not only entertaining but also highly informative. Chris's insights into the care and preservation of rare breeds were enlightening, and it's evident that he genuinely cares for each and every one of his animals.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Warwickz Farm tour with Chris to anyone looking for a delightful, family-friendly experience. It's a unique opportunity to connect with nature, learn about rare breeds, and witness firsthand the dedication of someone who truly loves what they do. This tour is an absolute gem and a must-do for animal enthusiasts...

We had the most wonderful time on the farm, an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, Chris made us feel so welcome. His warmth, knowledge, and genuine love for the animals really made the experience special.

Getting up close to a variety of classic New Zealand animals and given the opportunity to feed them, learn about them, and simply spending time in such a peaceful rural setting — was both fun and educational. You can really tell the animals are well cared for and happy, and it made the whole visit feel very personal and authentic.

Chris was fantastic and made sure we felt comfortable and engaged throughout. If you're looking for a hands-on, heartwarming, and unforgettable New Zealand farm experience, this is it. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Thank you Chris — we’ll be talking about this day for...

Did a tour with Chris on mid sep 2024. It was definitely one of the highlights of my NZ trip. On top of petting the animals, it was extremely informative for anyone who wants to know more about farming life from first hand experience. The interactions with each animal was at a comfortable pace, and my personal favourite was kune kune pigs! Lastly, all the best to your upcoming show in October, young and handsome Columbus!
