This is a priceless little shop and cafe. It's in the middle of beautiful countryside with nothing much else around but it's worth the drive. The lady serving when we went was wonderful and very friendly. Nice to talk to and joke with. She made great coffee and tea as well! We had a couple of homemade cookies as well. The shop is a one of a kind with a mix of old and new and full of sweet things....

The Langford store has the best collection of tea sets available for purchase that you'll find. They also do a pretty mean cream and jam scone, and are a perfect place to stop for an ice block on the east back from the Heaphy track.

One of the coolest wee places we’ve been to. This is a historic New Zealand icon. I highly recommend you visit, after a stop here you can continue out to the start of the Heaphy track. As far as the Langford goes they have great coffee and snacks too, a must visit if you are in the area.

Basically an amazing second hand / antique place plus a brilliant cafe at the end of a really scenic drive and in a quirky old building. Worth the drive. We had the scones and banana cake with about ten tonnes of tea. Recommended. An institution.
