Frenchman's Hill Estate — Local services in Waiheke

Hands down the most underrated winery on Waiheke Island! The wines are elegant and the best you will probably taste on the island. The winery is low key and the vibe is 'homey'. You would want to just get their on a sunny day, loiter on porch soaking the views and sipping on delicious wines while listening to beautiful French music and smelling the lavenders....

The wine is nice and setting beautiful however you pay $25 for 3 wine tastings and for that no explanation of their origin is given, they're just set down on the table. In many other Waiheke wineries the tastings are either free or $10 and with more engaging...

Was recommended here and was well impressed. Get away from the hussle touristy spots around Whaiheke and come here, a great platter and hands down.. The best wine I have ever had. Lovely spot to sit too with...
