Nyanya market is a very big market but you might not be able to tell so by just looking at it from the outside.
On Wednesday is the market day where sellers from all the villages around come to display their goods. Along the road, on the curvature, everywhere, you'd see people selling things so much so that there's usually traffic and serious road congestion on Wednesdays. Rate of pick pocketing and phone snatching is high on this day. Someone actually dragged my phone from my hand one Wednesday when I was trying to make a video for Google map review to show the congestion in the market. I couldn't tell who collected my phone, I was only mortified and very sad, everyone was walking so close to each other, that you can tell who did what. No walking path as everyone is pushing each other to even see road to pass. I personally do not advise to shop on Market days especially if you're just buying a few goods for your personal consumption.
On the other week days, there free walk flow and car flow. No congestion of any kind, you can freely walk in and out in minutes.
The videos I uploaded would should you the difference in the market structure on the Wednesday market day and other days.
Notice also that on the market day, I made the video from very far back so I zoomed in but on the other days, I showed the same place with free flow of people and motorists.
Enjoy the view and tell me how helpful this review was....

The police and Toad safety corps have a tough time on Wednesdays trying to maintain sanity along the major Abuja-Keffi expressway which passes right through Nyanya, beside the market as transporters anime's, tricycles, mini buses, taxis, mass transit buses and traders compete for any available space along the network of roads under and on top of the bridge. It is here that the terrorist group BOMO HARAM detonated a bomb that shattered many big buses, cars, pedestrians and killed people in hundreds. The spot beside the bridge which used to serve ad a change over / bus terminus was sealed off by the military for a long time. It has however been reopened to public use and life has returned there with bustling activities. The beautiful (mostly university) girls that throng this spot every Wednesday when imported bales containing shoes, bags, wears are opened are indeed a...
