Read moreCommunity outreach, volunteering, and donating is a part of travel I am passionate about. When it comes to reaching out to women and children in poverty ridden communities, I always make time to lend a helping hand in whatever way I can.
I recently lead Team Happy Coffee a Nigerian indeginous coffee brand, the company I also work with as the Customer Experience Team Lead to reach out to indegene children in the Riverine community of Makoko in partnership with Saveasole Foundation for Happpy Coffee 7th year anniversary shoe drive.
With support and donations from customers, donor partners, team Happy Coffee and friends of Happy Coffee, we provided shoes, clothes, food and warm chocolate drinks for over 500 indigene children. The joy of seeing their little faces light up is second to none.

Makoko is estimated to be home to around 250,000 people, most of whom live in difficult conditions. Despite being only a few kilometres away from the financial centre of the city.
