I had a lot of things to buy in my shopping list. So, I got to the market in Maraba and became overly confused. The government had changed the market setting. Aside from roadside sellers, every marketer had a numbered shop so it was easy to locate your favorite place of shopping. I really like this new change, things are easy to get in the stores, no tight marketing, no pick-pocketing, no fighting among sellers for space or loss of customers and crossing the road has been made easier. Plus, there's a pedestrian bridge just immediately after the market junction, how thoughtful! Kudos to the Government!🥂 We can all shop better at...

Quite big, available in the market are clothes of all kinds, shoes, cosmetic stores, pharmacies, Food stores, supermarkets, electronic stores and more. Fairly used clothes are usually sold just by the right hand side of the road when coming from New Nyanya or Ado and on the left side when coming from Abuja. It is also important to note that the area is very rough with lots of bad boys with illicit act, they snatch phones and hand bags from people, so take caution when you are in the area. Be very careful when you want to cross the as it is always rowdy, it is advisable to use the...

The busiest days of Maraba's market is a mild simulation of Obalende's. It is true that people cannot help walking too close to each other. The roads are tight, even footpaths in the market.

There's a section for everything. If you wish to find a section, the market taskforce personnel are your best bets.

If you come with a car, you might struggle to find a parking space. But with some money and good communication, the securities at some plazas may admit you. For a while.

Road congestion happens early in the morning and late in the evening. And to beat the morning traffic, leave...

A very wide and place with lots of stuffs. I can say one can get almost anything they are looking for at Mararaba market. The downside is that the place is too crowded, making it difficult to move around. It's also unkept, bad smell from all around because some parts of the place has been turned into a refuse disposal ground. For a market, this is a great location, and with a little restructuring, Mararaba Market could become one the greatest markets in the area.

Mararaba is mainly settlement for low and middle income civil servants working in Abuja metropolis. It is made up of people of different ethnic groups mostly Hausas. The congested large number of people leaving across the area makes it hard for good traffic movement. I can say for sure there is problem of electricity supply, bad road and increasing cost of leaving. God help us all amen.
