Climbed last week of September 2025. Pretty steep ascent for the hike. After walking for quite a while (felt like a long time), another sign showed 2.3km more to go! It was all greenery… till the last part at the Sherpa steps.. there was too much snow, and felt dangerous to continue… had walking stick, but not snow shoes. You can see from the last pic.. all green, but snow fall at the top. The view at Saksa was rewarding! Parking at the bottom was easy, cash in envelope or a local payment system (that did not work for me as tourist) (I did 2 other hikes…. All with snow.. end Sept was too late in the season)

Quite the challenging hike of 5-6 hours, but got a decent path and was a fun challenge. Beautiful views

Probably one of the best views in Norway. Hike is safe but exhausting!

W zależności od tempa - hike zajmie 2-3 godziny pod górę. Po drodze miniecie piękny schron górski a od połowy zaczną się widoki na fjord. Dwa nie o bardziej techniczne miejsca do przejścia a później skalne rumowisko zabiera nas na szczyt. Piękne widoki na fjord i okoliczne góry. Zaparkować można w wiosce poniżej góry ale trzeba mieć gotówkę (lub lokalną aplikację tylko dla...
