Denne turen starter på parkeringsplassen øverst i Fjellveien, nedenfor Turisthytta. Herfra følger man sherpastien opp til Keiservarden. Denne turen er 1.10 kilometer og tar rundt en halvtime med normalt turtempo. Når du har begynt å gå fra parkeringsplassen svinger du av til høyre i første kryss, og fortsetter stien på innsiden av vannet ved krysset. Videre er det steintrapper opp i de bratteste stigningene

Unvergleichlicher Rundblick von Bodø's Hausberg. Wanderzeit vom Zentrum Bodö auf 366 m Höhe ca. 2 Stunden, davon 1 Stunde durch die Stadt. Die kleine Schleife um das Svartvannet lohnt sich auch. Bei gutem Wetter kann man die Lofotenkette und schneebedeckte Berge in einer Entfernung bis zu 100 km im Umkreis sehen. Einmalig.

Totally stunning views from the top of the mountain. The point of 366 meters above sea level is called Keiservarden and is a rather easy and nice hike close to Bodo. Travel to Turisthytten and walk from there. The path is 2.3 km of which the fist km is a really easy path, wide and smooth. The last 1.3 km is still an easy walk but know it goes up hill with uneven stone stairs mixed with mountain paths and stony parts. Lots of people run up to the top and most people wear running shoes but I recommend a light walking shoe for the hike and some warm clothes for the top once you reach it. You'll want to stay and it can be quite windy up here. The view will show you Saltstraumen, Kjerringoy, Bodo city and if you go in the summer on a sunny day - an amazing...

The view is super nice although going up is a challenge but as you go up, you also see the view of whole Bodø, as well as the different nature views...
