The waterfall is located along the Norwegian National Road 9, just south of the village of Ose in the municipality of Bygland in Agder county. The waterfall flows down into a short stream before emptying into the northern end of the Åraksfjorden.

I was lucky enough to drive by after it had rained for weeks. Spectacular! Pity it wasn't possible to take a picture, while sitting on the bus... One picture is from a time when I was not so lucky, and an older picture with more water...

Perfect scenery. There is a road goes up to the waterfall. You have to pay 10€ for using the tourist road. But it is worth it.

God plass for parkering på vestsiden av veien. Må gå i litt ulendt terreng for å komme skikkelig til om man går nedenfra. Noen glatte partier er det da selvsagt. Hadde håpet det var bedre tilrettelagt for å kunne komme nærmere fossen. Men alt i alt absolutt verdt turen opp igjennom skog og kratt for en skikkelig kikk, er ikke snakk om mer enn 5-10 min gange.

God plass for parkering på vestsiden av veien. Må gå i litt ulendt terreng for å komme skikkelig til om man går nedenfra. Noen glatte partier er det da selvsagt. Hadde håpet det var bedre tilrettelagt for å kunne komme nærmere fossen. Men alt i alt absolutt verdt turen opp igjennom skog og kratt for en skikkelig kikk, er ikke snakk om mer enn 5-10 min gange.
