Nice hike, and super nice views at the top. We did the hike with 2 kids of 7 and 9 years old. It took us about 4 hours in total, including a lunch break at the top. Can be quite strenuous, and I wouldn't advice it with younger kids. Some fitness level and dexterity needed (also for adults 😉) + good shoes. If you take a detour to the left at the start, you can spot sea eagles. Takes about 30-60 mins. extra.

This hike is one the best ones in Lofoten! Hike is considered challenging, but there are only few steeper sections and it took around 1.5hrs to reach the peak with calm pace. But without a doubt worth the effort, because the views are absolutely breathtaking! (and not in only top but along the way as well)

Geweldig uitzicht vanaf de top! Een van de mooiste die ik op lofoten heb gedaan. Om daar te komen moet je wel een steil pad omhoog. Ik heb af en toe met handen en voeten moeten werken en goed moeten concentreren op waar ik mijn stappen zetten. Het is dus zeker geen makkelijke hike, aangezien er veel losliggende rotsen liggen. Ik heb ook mensen gezien die zijn omgekeerd. Tip : volg het juiste pad naar beneden. Ik heb per ongeluk een verkeerde afslag gepakt en kwam aan de verkeerde kant van de berg terecht. Hier stopt het pad dan ook op een gegeven moment. Ik was zeker niet de eerste aangezien hier al een pad was gecreëerd. Ik ben de berg alsnog afgegaan om vervolgens het pad beneden weer terug te vinden (is niet aan te raden ;)).

Great hike. About 3hrs return. It's very steep in sections, which can be dangerous when muddy so likely avoid this after a lot of rain. Even then there are likely still muddy parts at the start of the trail. Also check what the cloud cover is like. We had no views from the top as it was pretty low hanging cloud cover. You can still get nice views from just below the top, but only into the valley you...
