We went there a few years ago and I just thought of writing a review because it might be useful. We walked from the nearest train stop, and we enjoyed the 'adventure' to get to this place. We walked from the old town, a residential complex on a hill, going through a small forest, until we got there. It's definitely worth the journey. A beautiful sculpture museum located in the middle of nature, it's free, and I highly recommend it, especially for those who love travel by walking

The museum is for free. Definitely worth visiting. There are few concrete sculptures in beautiful modern building locted on top of a small hill near some old building.

Spennende galleri på Midtåsen ved Anders Jahres villa, med flotte skulpturer av Knut Steen. Fine omgivelser med utsikt over Sandefjord. Gode turområder!

Small, free to visit exhibition in the grounds of Midtåsen Manor. Twenty of Knut Steen's sculptures are displayed here. Marble ones in a purpose built pavilion, with a handful of bronzes outside. An earlier work of Steen's is the Whaling Monument displayed...
