The chef creates the most delicious yet simple meals bursting with natural flavours.|Recreation includes fishing, kayaking, hiking or just relaxing in the sauna. As other reviewers note, it's not a casual trip to get here, but once you do, the mixture of playful and thoughtfu modern architecture, rural island life, dramatic mountain peaks, and the sea make amazing alchemy for a unique and truly special experience. Service went above and beyond at every step, dining was high quality and locally-oriented, and a great roster of activities from sauna to hiking to kayaking on offer, even in the off-season. We did the "eagle safari" to some islands about 30 min away and have never seen more sea eagles in one place - at least a dozen. Utterly remarkable experience, Adrian was a great guide. Worth every penny and every minute you spend to get here, you won't regret it. Cabins are phenomenal with floor-to-ceiling windows that are cantilevered over the water to make you think you are at sea (but happily no waves). Just idyllic. Plus: cute and fearless sheep roam...
