My wife and I had a fabulous experience dogsledding with Mira and her amazing dogs. Mira is a true professional, her experience and comfort in the Artic wilderness was obvious, which made us feel comfortable and safe.

Kaira Paws only does private tours, so you get a truly personalized experience; definitely no “conveyer belt” type of tours here! We did an “Into the Wild” tour in the beautiful mountains of Kilpisjärvi, Finland. The scenery was breathtaking and we truly got a wilderness dogsledding experience. We stopped off at a remote cabin to warm up a bit and enjoy some hot food and drinks.

We could tell that the dogs are very happy, well cared for, and part of Mira’s family.

What an amazing and unforgettable experience! We did the "Into the wild" tour and this was one of the bedt outdoor experiences we ever had.

We started the trip in Kilpisjärvi and helped setting up the sleds and then got a short instruction. It is super fun and easy, so don't worry if you have never done it before. Mira is super nice and easygoing and always stops to check, if everytjong is okay.

The trip was just breathtaking. We started around 10am watching a beautiful sunrise, taking us though the wilderness to a cabin to have lunch there. Accompanied by a stunning sunset we sled back to the starting point. The pictures say it all..

There is also enough time to cuddle the dogs and you can really feel the dogs are well taken care of.

All in all an unforgettable experience and we can 100% recommend it 👌

dog sledding with Mira was the highlight of our trip to Norway! The weather wasn’t great in Skibotn so she took us to Kilpisjärvi in Finland, and we were treated with views of polar stratospheric clouds the whole way! Her animal’s welfare is at the heart of the activity and as such the tours are so small (only us 2). We had the most spectacular views the whole time we were sledding and the time flew. Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate in a nearby hotel. Mira is such an interesting person, it was so great to get to know her! Mira also knew the owner of our next accommodation, who was so lovely and especially friendly when he heard we met Mira! We couldn’t recommend...
