Hard to put in words the beauty we experienced. Trail is definitely not easy, but so worth it. Come prepared, with enough food, water and time.
First 500m were quite dificult - smooth slippery rocks, but once through you’ll thank yourself later you didn’t quit there. Followed by few kilometers of bushes the trail leads to a waterfall. Once you cross that the fields starts to open up more and amazing views start to emerge. The last push before the peak is quite steep and challenging but also breathtakingly amazing. Once up the winds started to pick up, unless moving around it can get quite cold.
There is a guestbook up there, based on that people go there on every second day. On the top of the montain the trail leads towards glacier, giving gorgeous 360 views both to the several waterfalls, valleys and icefield.

We went 95% of the way up and didn’t push for the last scramble as the views were already 10/10 so can’t comment on how hard the last bit is but the rest was fine for people with a bit of scrambling experience, we found it easier than...
Read moreUnfortunately the hike is really poorly marked. After the cairns we ended up taking what seemed to be the hike path for about an hour. Turns out it was not - GPS no longer matched the maps indicated altitude and the trail was extremely muddy and dangerously steep (which we thought was part of the “expert hike” experience). We had to turn back but we still got a very rewarding view over...
