This is one very special place in the heart of the Norwegian wilderness. Given the time of year we were in the region (transition between Winter and Spring - although it’s May!), we wanted to still do a short hike into this valley to check it out. Driving into Nerdalen was pretty easy, there is a good carpark at the start point for the hike/walk to the Innerdalen DNT hytte. The 4km walk along a service road was beautiful, combination of forrest, mountain scenery, fast flowing rivers and overall spectacular wilderness. Having never seen Inndalstårnet before, this mountain is one heck of a sight. The conditions were not favourable to climb it on the day we were there, but we will be back this Summer to give it a go and check out the view.
