Booking the sauna on the sunniest day was a good choice but so was moving my slot till after the cruise ship left; that made all the difference. If a cruise ship is parked in front, your experience won't be the same so check the schedule of the port. A dip in the fjord is for legends and overall the sauna is nicely built and spacious. I didn't see bathrooms but I may have missed them. Otherwise well worth the money, especially for views such as the one below.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the view (in the summer month there can be boats blocking the view (partially)) as your muscles get warmed up. You also can do a polar plunge (please use stairs) and freshen up in the ice cold water. Fresh water for the oven and to drink is inside available. There is no bathroom at the floating pier. Reservations can be done online. Use the link in the description.

Great place, maybe pricey for 1 hour but it's not often you get to have a view of the mountains while in a sauna in Svalbard, maybe it's even the only one? And you can go take a dip in sub-zero water while watching out for walruses. No shower so that means you have to do it! Great place to meet new friends aswell!

Love the concept,

View is amazing of course, but why is this in front of where a cruise ship would go ??! What a shame,

Was clean, really nice and really hot, loved it.

Only downside, pool was with 20cm water only, water was green so didn’t go in. No shower outside either. Had to find the hose available, water wasn’t high pressure and used drips to get in. Such a shame. If those were looked into and corrected, this really is a great place to...

Best time to use it. Is when the cruise season is over. BUT. That means a lot colder and darker environments, heheh. But just a added bonus if you ask me;)

Pros -Great price. Only 300Kr for an hour session -Beautiful scenery -Warm place hehe -And a chance to see walruses! -Helpfull online staff
