One of the most beautiful saunas I experienced! BUT was also a bit disappointed as a sauna enthusiast, so want to point those things out to those who traveled far like I did in order to experience it in the winter time.

It was way too low indoor temperature (65c), and a very high ceiling. All heat rises, so even if it may look good, it is hard to build up proper heat.

It was also way too few sauna heater stones on the electric heater, and only allowed to tuss one scoop of water, meaning it is even harder to get yourself really hot and want to go outside and cool down in 2c water.

If those 2 things could be amended, and that you could sit in there in with a temperature of 90c and scoop as much water you would like - I would say it could be...

Would recommend making a reservation atleast a weak prior to your stay. We really enjoyed the whole experience. The architecture and nature around were simply breathtaking. If we could we would give 4.5 star the points were deducted for the temperature of the sauna which peaked at 75°C at most because of the unwise interior desing and also the button for water was broken so we had to collect water from lake in our bottles… but absolutely...

Great Sauna for a great price. Went in September so the lake was not warm. Still was nice when getting out sauna. You drive to a dead end and then park in the left gravel lot. Then walk to the bathroom and get the keys then walk to the sauna. There is a picnic and grill to the left. It is private. Just be careful of the. Next booking showing up early and...

The Soria Moria Sauna, which took its name from Norway’s most famous fairy tale, sits in the waters of Lake Bandak. Accessed by an angular dock that is meant to mimic the mountain peaks, the structure features the sauna, a changing room, a covered seating area, and a large deck for sunbathing. Inside, Soria Moria Sauna offers plenty of spots to sit quietly or socialize with others. There are stadium bleacher style wooden benches where families can relax together and in one area there is a small bench that looks out onto the lake thanks to the large corner window. A covered seating area outside lets folks transition from the heat of the sauna into the fresh air before moving onto the deck for a dip into the lake. #norway #norway🇳🇴 #norway2day #norwaynature #soriamoria #soriamoriasauna #europetravel #europe
