Lauklines Kystferie — Local services in Tromsø

We visited from December 14-18, 2024 and the stay at Lauklines Kystferie plus the activities with Explore The Arctic will always be with us as one of the best trips we did as a family.||Andreas and Hanna were prompt and responsive: even though the vehicle to pick us from Tromso airport was unavailable, they managed to organize 2 vehicles to ferry us and our luggage to the cabins in a timely manner. After nearly 18 hours of flying, it was nice to arrive to a warm and cozy cabin amidst the snow and tranquility of the location.||Marcus, Jakob and Kristyna went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our Arctic road trip. They were meticulous in working out the best way for us to enjoy the Northern Lights and we were so lucky to be able to see the Lights around the cabins and also not far away, around Kvaloya island on a beach with a full moon. In fact, with our jet lag, we were really thankful that we caught the lights at 8:38pm - way before our usual bedtime.||So, thank you all! We may well be back one summer to experience...

I was invited to go to Lauklines with a very dear couple and accepted with great excitement. It was absolutely fantastic, a dream come true and left me with memories I will always cherish. The accommodation was far more than expected - it was warm inviting and in such a beautiful location. I couldn't fault it and just lived in a dream world for 10 days. We saw a dolphin swim passed the cabin, I woke to see Reindeer feeding outside my window & we saw different birds. The scenery was stunning the location of the property was so peaceful - it was just like paradise. There was everything we needed in the property. It was so warm and inviting. We were well organised regarding food etc as there are no shops within 30 km but the supermarkets were well equipped for all your needs if you had forgotten anything. |I would definitely recommend Lauklines for a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing holiday place to go. They have thought of everything to make your holiday...

I just finished staying at Lauklines for the second summer in a row. For us, it was fishing that took us to the area, but the accomodations alone are worth it. Situated directly on the fjord, the view from the deck is amazing. Being a bit off the beaten path, there is little noise other than that being made my yourself, or nature. The cabins are well stocked and very comfortable. The WiFi worked without issue. On this trip I wanted to take a trip to one of the islands in addition to fishing a few days, and it was very easy to communicate with Andreas and Marcus to coordinate the details. The guided fishing with Jakob (fun, knowledge captain! Recommend!) was fruitful catching cod, coalfish, and the prized halibut. We also got to meet a soon to be skipper, Benjamin, as he was learning the lauklines way, and I am sure he will be excellent as well. I cannot say enough good things about this small, intimate, family...
